Vanessa Richards brought brightness, joy, and many smiles to Step Up, an expressive arts group for immigrant and refugee youth at SUCCESS. Vanessa supported the youth to gain confidence, to love and use their own voices, and to break language barriers by using music and singing to connect with each other. It was a very inspiring experience to witness Vanessa’s facilitation style. Vanessa was extremely engaging and created a very safe and empowering environment for the youth.
