With a collaborative catwalk, exhibition and awards, AFAM Vancouver has commanded the way in highlighting Africa’s emerging designers and apparel industry and has been at the forefront of bringing awareness of Africa’s expanding fashion industry.
AFAM Vancouver aims to shift the narratives about Africa and the African diaspora by re-branding the perception of Africa as a whole. We are committed to empower and promote African inspired fashion and arts by providing a premier event platform that also supports entrepreneurs in building a sustainable business that is internationally recognized and promotes social change in Africa.
The event includes a silent auction and all proceeds of the silent auction will go towards school supplies and uniforms for children in Lome, Togo-West Africa.
