There are two things that I have always been passionate about…holistic health and personal development.

I would dream of running my own luxury health retreat; were people would come to take charge of their minds and bodies. But life chose a different path for me.  I decided to become a nurse when my children were school aged; it was a job that I liked, and one that allowed me to comfortably support my family.  My dream of a having career in health and self-development was pushed to the back burner until my kids became young adults.

My passion for holistic health is partly driven from my personal experience navigating the challenges of chronic migraine headaches, hereditary hypertension and most recently, hormone changes and weight gain as I have gotten older.  I had always been an active person and maintained a lean frame until the age of about 46…slowly and surely my body began to behave in a manner I was not accustomed to…and quite frankly I felt betrayed!  I would try different diets (vegan, pescatarian, the master cleanse, and started counting calories/macros) but no matter what I tried I couldn’t get back to a weight where I felt comfortable.

It wasn’t until I became a health coach that I was able to fully understand the concept of intuitive eating and how to break free of the “diet” mentality.  I now have a healthier relationship with food, my mind and with my body.

I teach my clients that our relationship with food is linked to more than what we actually consume.  I am able to help unlock the underlying reasons of emotional eating and help my clients learn life-long skills and habits to reach food freedom and optimal health.
