As the world turned into the 21st century at a very rapid pace and as various countries continue to emerge, the question arose: what would the next 50 years bring for the African continent?​

It is the responsibility of the current generation of African immigrants in Canada and other parts of the world to build a vehicle to help develop and inform more people on the African continent and globally about personal growth, cultural, career, business and economic success, while not forgetting our endeared culture and heritage or neglecting our duty as citizens.​

For this purpose we are very much in need of a community radio in order to be better informed of the political, economic, and cultural situation of Africa, and also to share our thoughts about the exciting life we live in the Greater Vancouver region and other parts of Canada. In addition to being a source of information, this radio time is an opportunity for us to express our identity and to put our Canadian Citizenship to good use. This becomes a vehicle that will build our community, while enhancing our cultural identity and sharing it with the World.​
